Amy Winehouse looks glowing as she arrives back in London

It was technically a 'work' trip when Amy Winehouse was booked to perform five comeback gigs in Brazil.
But after spending her free time relaxing by the pool and getting some much needed sunshine, the singer looked glowing as she arrived back in London yesterday.
Now drug-free for over a year, the soul singer looked glam in a patterned dress and brown cardigan - and of course her signature ballet shoes - as she walked through Heathrow's arrivals hall.

The low-cut dress gave onlookers an eyeful of her 32D cleavage following a £35,000 boob job in October 2009.
Over the past two weeks, she has been staying at the £700-per-night Santa Teresa hotel in Rio De Janeiro - a base for her five gigs in the South American country.

It's rumoured that as well as being happy that she's finally back playing live, she is apparently pocketing a £5million cheque for just five shows.

Amy is insisting that she has been clean and drug free for a year, after seeing a photo of herself last January looking wild and messed up.
She previously said of the picture, which showed her pale, gaunt and covered in cuts: 'I thought: "Girl, you've got to sort yourself out or you'll be dead soon".'

However, being clean hasn't yet resulted in the hoped-for burst of creativity, with the only new material announced so far a song which will feature on Quincy Jones's new tribute album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra

A follow-up to her smash-hit 2006 second album Back To Black has been in the pipeline for the past four years, but the singer's personal battles have hitherto got in the way of her progressing with her recording career.
However, now that she seems physically back to her best and having turned in some good comeback performances so far in Brazil, there are high hopes that her new album will see the light of day as planned in 2011 - giving Amy even more to grin about.

Amy Winehouse's enormously successful 2006 album Back to Black led to a flurry of awards and accolades. At the 2008 Grammy Awards she won five awards including Best Album for Back to Black and Best New Artist. She won Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards in 2007. She also has three Ivor Novello Awards under her belt and in 2007 won a MOBO Award for Best UK Female.
Her first album Frank was released in 2003. A collaboration with artist Mark Ronson produced a No.2 hit in the UK charts with single Valerie, which was the ninth best selling single of 2007. It appears on Ronson's album Version.
Amy attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in Marylebone, London, before being asked to leave aged 14, for piercing her nose and failing to keep up with her studies. She also attended the Brit School in Selhurst Croydon.
As well as her musical talents, Amy is well known for her trademark beehive, tattoos and troubled personal life. Her drink and drug addictions, eating disorders and problems with depression and self-harming have been well documented. Her father Mitch, a taxi driver, and mother Janis, a pharmacist, have talked frankly about Amy's personal troubles, which they believe stem from the death of her beloved grandmother Cynthia, in 2006. Her father revealed in June 2008 that Amy was suffering early signs of emphysema caused by smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine.
Her problematic love life has also been a source of speculation in the media. Her husband Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to 27 months in July 2008 for grievous bodily harm and trying to pervert the course of justice. She lives in Camden
