Fabulous Recipe: Cream Cheese Lasagna...


Yummy! I just love lasagna :) especially due to the fact that I am a cheese fanatic.  There are so many different ways you can make lasagna and this time around I made it with cream cheese.  Check out the fab recipe below.

Cream Cheese Lasagna

Ingredients:
9-12 Lasagna Noodles (Depends on size of the pan your using)
2 pds. Turkey Ground
1 8oz Package Cream Cheese (regular or reduced fat)
1 8oz Package Shredded Cheddar Cheese
26.5 oz Jar of Pasta Sauce (your choice)
3 Small Mushrooms Chopped
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Season Salt


Directions:
1.In a large pot boil water and let lasagna cook until tender. 
2.In a separate pan sprinkle olive oil, after letting the oil heat for a few seconds place meat and sprinkle with seasoning, add mushrooms and cook until brown. 
3.Once lasagna is tender remove from pot, empty water and place in a strainer and rinse.  Let sit until you are done mixing meat mixture. 
4. Drain oil out of pan with meat then remove meat and place in the big pot.  Add in sauce and cream cheese, mix until cream cheese has melted.
5. Line the bottom of your pan with sauce and begin your first layer of lasagna.  Add lasagna, meat mixture and sprinkle cheddar cheese.  Continue until your last layer and top your lasagna with the remainder of the meat mixture and cheese.
