Here's a little clip from my ipod of my extreme sailing crew on October 20 2010. Most of the time in the fall we are the only ones out on Lake Ontario because all the other yachtsman are busy getting their cooters waxed in Yorkville. The boat is a J80 and fast as hell. We didn't even put the spinnaker up and i still think we reached 14 knots on the way back in. Winds were over 30 knots & gusting hard. Huge swells for Lake Ontario. The video doesn't really do it justice as I only took out the ipod to record when it was calm.
I've been crewing on a couple boats here in LA; a 48' Beneteau & a 25' Henderson. I hope to make a decent sailing vizz from one of the races. Last weekend dolphins were jumping all around the boat and apparently it's whale watching season.
