Fabulous Health Fact: How Smoking Affects Your Looks...

We hear about the dangers cigarettes can cause to your inner body but not much about what it can do to the outside.  Let's be honest must of us care about how we look in the mirror and at times we need to hear the affects of the outside of our bodies because maybe then we will take the necessary steps to fix the problem. Below is a list of how tobacco smoke can effect your looks.

Affects of Tobacco

-Loose Skin Under Eyes
-Poor Skin Tone/Uneven Coloring
-Sagging Skin including inner arms and breasts
-Lines Around the Lips
-Age Spots
-Damaged Teeth and Gums
-Stained Fingers
-Hair Loss
-Cataracts
-Psoriasis
-Crow's Feet Eye Wrinkles

Most of the above can be slowed or stopped once you quit smoking.  When you are a smoker the tobacco smoke causes blood flow to slow which in turn stops you from receiving the correct nutrients and oxygen. Once you stop smoking your appearance will start to improve as your skin will look more healthy, your teeth may become whiter and the stains on your fingers will disappear.
