Ladies, how would you handle a situation where you and your significant other are living your lives accordingly and then boom an old love of his pops up and states that her child is his? I have seen this scenario played out many times in reality and fiction and although most may have an opinion from the outside how do you handle the situation if you're on the inside?
Now of course this is assuming that your significant other had no idea that the baby even existed. When this baby pops up do you accept him or her with open arms or place doubt? The first reaction would be to place doubt of course because you will wonder why it took this person so long to present the child. If your significant other thinks about the timeline and believes the baby is theirs do you go along with it or push for a paternity test? If the baby turns out to definitely be his how do you proceed to your regular life now with a long lost child involved and baby mama?
If I was in this situation myself I would probably support my significant other but make a suggestion to conduct a DNA test because you just never know. Once a child is involved and you get attached to that child it can be heartbreaking when you find out they're not yours.
