Sherri Shepherd and her year long boyfriend writer Lamar Sally became engaged on December 26th.
To surprise Sherri Sally's friend decorated the home with lights, put a Santa beard and hat on her dog and hid the ring box in Sherri's bowl of M&M's.
To make this proposal even cuter, before Sally proposed he asked Sherri's 5 year old son for permission.
Sherri and Sally plan to have an August wedding in Chicago.
