On Barbara Walters special airing tonight on ABC, Oprah stated the below.
"I have said we are not gay, I am not lesbian. I'm not even kind of lesbian. And the reason it irritates me is because somebody must think I'm lying. That's number one. Number two, why would you want to hide it? That's not the way I run my life. Gayle is the mother I never had, she is the sister everybody would want, she is the friend everybody deserves. I don't know a better person."
Oprah then goes on to say, "It's making me cry because I'm thinking about how I've probably never told her that."
Awww, now that's a true friendship. I never understood why they called her a lesbian anyway, why can't two friends just hang out without being labeled?
Watch the show tonight as Oprah goes on to explain that her and Stedman are still together and that is her boo.
