I don't get it.
The whole "Cheap & Chic" concept, especially as the name of a perfume. Who wants to smell like something cheap? Then having Olive Oyl, of all cartoon characters, as the image and bottle for this Moschino perfume. I sort of like original Moschino from 1987 with its big and flashy personality. Chip & Chic is trying to be anything but.
Moschino Cheap & Chic is one of those timid floral musks that try to win hearts by having a fresh top notes that promise they're clean and you can bring them home to momma. It also smells, indeed, cheap, and like plastic. It gets better, though, with a soft heart of a peachy rose that almost smells real. In the end, Moschino Cheap & Chic is a light musky floral of the laundry detergent variety. It's harmless, but seriously, Moschino should know better, at least for Olive Oyl's sake.
