How do you usually kiss and makeup after a fight?
Sooner or later all couples will have an argument about something and it's the way you handle the situation afterward that matters the most. When you get into an argument with your significant other it can be about something so silly like leaving the toilet seat up and your pissed because you fell in. The argument can start off about something this tiny and blow up into something so big and then you find the two of you are going back and forth blaming each other for things that annoy the other. As I stated before in one of my older articles, when the argument is taken up to this level you need to step back from each other and have a cooling off period. Once you have had your cooling off period now it's time for the making up.
Below are some ideas on how you can get the making up started:
-If you're the one that messed up admit that you were wrong. If you know you were wrong in the situation just apologize and let your partner know you will try not to make the same mistake again and when you say this be genuine about it and actually make the effort. This will in turn cause your partner to apologize as well as they were also a part of this screaming match.
-Go to your partner and tell them you love them. This will calm the both of you as your partner will respond the same and from there you can go on to talk about the argument in a calm manner.
-Make new agreements and come to an understanding that when you want to solve an issue in your relationship yelling and arguing isn't the way to go as that will just cause more conflict and frustration.
-Don't keep bringing up things that were said in the argument as this may cause another argument. Plus most of the things said in the argument are just said in the heat of the moment and aren't really meant. Talk it over or agree to disagree and move on.
