I have known people who say it's cool to be friends with an ex and some who wouldn't dare. From personal experience it's a no for me.
I actually had a long term relationship with someone in the past and we were friends for a while until I figured out I had moved on and he didn't, even though he was newly married. The friendship was ok at first as we both moved on to new relationships and I was happy and thought he was as well. He would call for relationship advice which wasn't a problem or just to see how I was doing, that was fine as well. Things took a turn when he started saying he was looking at my old pictures, he was sneaking around calling me as his wife told him not to and it was things like this that told me there is no point of being friends with him or any ex. Some exes will hold onto he past and that is not healthy especially if you are in a new relationship or just don't want to bothered.
There is nothing wrong with saying hello to an ex if you see them passing by but there is no need to start reminiscing on what use to be or what could have been. Maybe this is just me being biased but I don't see the point.
So tell me ladies are you friends or have you been friends with your exes? If so, how did it turn out?
